Wisconsin Stabbing: 5 bodies found after suspect allegedly goes on stabbing rampage

From ABC7 Eyewitness News in Milwaukee:

Police have identified the driver of the vehicle as Teysha Chapman, a 42-year-old Milwaukee woman. Milwaukee police Chief Ed Flynn has said there are no indications that any of the people shot or stabbed were targeted because of their religion. Chapman was arrested at the scene.

NBC10 News has more from Waukesha police:

According to reports, Chapman was a parishioner at the celebrated Third Ward Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Early indications are that when the perpetrator deliberately went down this path he received an assist from a 7-year-old boy and a man who managed to survive the attack.

Police have not said whether Chapman’s religion factored into the motivation, nor has they identified the victims.

Several of the dead were reportedly off-duty police officers or firefighters. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) has directed flags at all public facilities to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims.
